What to Expect

Since joining the CrossFit Invictus coaching team in 2015, Travis Ewart has helped thousands of CrossFit athletes worldwide develop strong, efficient gymnastics skills. We are delighted to welcome him back to our gym for two back-to-back seminars.

With decades of coaching experience, he teaches practical techniques specifically designed for CrossFit – combining performance, efficiency, and safety. Whether you’re looking to master the basics or refine advanced skills, this seminar will help you become a more well-rounded CrossFit athlete.

Beginner’s Training Day

Advanced Athlete Training Day

Whether you’re an athlete looking to build confidence in gymnastics or a coach wanting to deepen your understanding of movement progressions, this seminar is for you. You’ll learn practical, effective approaches to CrossFit-style gymnastics, improve your movement quality, and gain the tools to confidently progress gymnastics skills. These are hands-on seminars, so come ready to move, practice drills, ask questions, and learn by doing.

Beginner`s Training Day (Saturday)

Designed specifically for beginners, this seminar is ideal for anyone who is still developing the basics of gymnastics and regularly scales movements during CrossFit classes. No matter where you’re starting, you’ll leave with greater confidence, a clearer understanding of the fundamentals, and practical techniques you can apply immediately in your training

  • Bar Mounting Basics
  • Bar Kipping Methodology
  • Understanding Physics of Kipping Movements
  • Introduction to Handstand Work
  • Handstand Inversion Drills
  • Introduction to Ring Work

Advanced Athlete Training Day (Sunday)

Designed for athletes who already have a solid foundation in gymnastics, this seminar is ideal for anyone who can perform the basic movements and wants to take their skills to the next level. Whether your goal is to improve consistency, develop more advanced movements, or increase efficiency under fatigue, you’ll leave with practical tools and coaching insights you can apply immediately to your training.  

Advanced Athlete Training Outline – (8 Hours Total) 

  • Static Handstand & Handstand Walk
  • Toes-To-Bar or Handstand Push-Up
  • Lunch Break (bring your own food!)
  • Butterfly Pull-Up
  • Bar Muscle-Up
  • Certificates and Group Photos

These seminars are limited to 20 participants each. Take advantage of our Early Bird pricing available through August 31. Registrations made from September 1 onward will be charged at the regular rate. Your place is secured upon receipt of payment.

Schedule Changes for the Seminar Weekend

Due to these events, our schedule will be slightly different that weekend. On Saturday, we will need to cancel the last CrossFit class at 12:00 as well as Open Gym at 11:30. All other classes, including our Junior, Kids, and Teens classes, will take place as scheduled. On Sunday, there will be no regular classes and no Open Gym.
